Terms and Conditions
The Winehouse & Kitchen and the Client agree as follows:
1. Reservation
Procedure
Reservation requests must be received in writing. Confirmed bookings are established on receipt
of the specified NZ$2,000.00 non-refundable deposit. The initial deposit is payable within one
week of the request. We reserve the
right to cancel this booking should we not receive this initial deposit. Deposit required is NZ$2,000.00 for exclusive
bookings of the Kitchen Restaurant and Courtyard. The Winehouse & Kitchen reserves the
right to request an additional specified, non refundable deposit, prior to the
function, and the full balance upon the conclusion of the function.
2. Damage to
Venue and/or Property
The cost of repairs for any damage caused by the client
and/or function/event attendees shall be paid by the Client within seven days
from the date of receiving the invoice for such damage. The Winehouse & Kitchen does not accept
any responsibility for the damage or loss of any property left in the premises
prior to, during or after any function.
3. Confirmation
of Number of Attendees
Estimated numbers of attendees are to be advised to The
Winehouse & Kitchen when making the reservation.
Clients agree to advise The Winehouse & Kitchen at least
72 hours prior (excluding weekends and public holidays) of the function, the
definite number of participants. This
number or a higher number if the actual number of attendees increases, will be
charged to the client. The Winehouse
& Kitchen reserves the right to restrict maximum attendee numbers to those
agreed to and confirmed.
4. Cancellation
of Event – Force Majeure
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled, The
Winehouse & Kitchen reserves the right to retain any non-refundable
deposit. Cancellation within 48 hours of
the function will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total estimated function
amount.
Subject to this clause, no party to this Agreement shall be
responsible to the other for any changes to the agreed function/event
requirements should the changes be a result of any statute, governmental
regulation or any act of god, fire, natural disaster, damage to the venue or
other causes beyond the reasonable control of the parties. In the event of such a force majeure, the
parties shall agree to amend or cancel the Agreement and all deposits shall be
refunded. The Winehouse & Kitchen will
not be liable for any damages caused as a result of cancellation.
5. Notification
of Function/Event Requirements
The Client is required to advise The Winehouse & Kitchen
of all final requirements relating to the function/event such as food and
beverage choices, entertainment, venue set up, AV requirements, special
requests, timings etc no later than 7 working days prior to the function/event.
Any amendments made by the Client after such notifications
are subject to an amendment fee which will be negotiated with the Client before
the request amendments are undertaken.
6. BYO
No Food or Beverage of any kind will be permitted to be
brought into or removed from the Winehouse & Kitchen without prior
approval.
7. Timings
Clients agree to begin and conclude their function at the
scheduled time outlined in their confirmation.
We advise printing the agreed time of arrival at The Winehouse &
Kitchen on invitations or guest itineraries if guests will be arriving individually.
8. Authority
The client will ensure that a representative of the client,
charged with the necessary authority, shall be in attendance for the duration
of the function to authorize any late amendments to the confirmed
arrangements. This person shall be
identified to the on-site manager of The Winehouse & Kitchen prior to the
function.
9. Payment
The Client agrees to make full payment immediately upon
completion of the function unless prior arrangement has been authorized by the
Manager.
10. Menu
Changes
Menu prices and other prices listed may be subject to change
at The Winehouse & Kitchen’s discretion.
Price variations for new season’s menus will be sent to the client upon
request. The menus are subject to
seasonal availability. The Winehouse
& Kitchen will advise the Client of any changes to the agreed menu.
The menu’s and wine lists and their associated prices in
this literature are subject to change without notice
11. Displays,
Decorations and Exhibits
Any displays and decorations required for the function by
the client shall be approved in writing by The Winehouse & Kitchen prior to
the displays and decorations being brought into the venue. Should confetti or glitter be used a cleaning
charge of $250.00 + GST will apply.
12. For an
evening function at The Winehouse & Kitchen, the following is included:
• White
linen (tablecloths and napkins)
• Tables,
chairs, crockery, cutlery and glassware
• Printed
menus (provided by our standard in-house black and white printer)
• Service
staff
• Piped in house
music
• Set up and break down cost
