Tasting Notes:
Bungy co-founder, Henry van Asch and his brother in law Tom Hutchison grow grapes for this cool, modern label out of Central Otago and Marlborough. If their Otago Pinot Noir is anything to go by, it is a label to watch!
Dark, deeply coloured wine, the aroma is extremely dense and intensely fruited with really lovely, good quality oak notes showing through.
Ripe in the mouth, the wine is dense and concentrated showing really quite spectacular depth of flavour.
Lush and plush textured with a full mid-palate and beautiful, silky tannins, the components are very well balanced and long and finish with a lilt of minerally acidity. This really is gorgeous wine!
This is a big value Central Otago Pinot Noir at a fraction of the cost
