"van Asch have become one of the shop's favourites down here in Central Otago for their pinots. A quick look around the shelves here should yeild some '05, '03, and possibly some '00 pinot, a great snapshot of vintages past. A blend of fruit from Gibbston and Cromwell, this has both earthy complexity from the former and juicy cherry fruits from the latter. An intense chocolately finish makes for a great bottle of pinot, and at a price that screams 'bargain!'  - Duncan
