van Asch wines source fruit from vineyards of the Central Otago region.  The characteristics of each van Asch wine reinforce the connection with the region and the flavours that have always been here.
 
The flavours in each wine are varietal driven while also being crafted as a reflection of the land.  The van Asch winemaking aim  is best summed up by “fine wine begins with the vine”.
 
The van Asch wines approach is through sustainable viticulture where a balance’ in the vineyard is strived for. This ultimately provides grapes that are a reflection of each particular site or as the French say ‘terroir’.
