The Rooms at The Winehouse & Kitchen
The Front Room: Capacity: 10 guests seated
Features: A large Rimu boardroom table and 10 leather boardroom chairs. French Doors that open onto private paved outside area. Oiled Rimu floorboards, burgundy velvet curtains and 1920’s Florence Broadhurst wallpaper make this a more formal and intimate room. An operable white wall is ideal for data shows. This room has a superb view looking onto the croquet green and our vines. Great for any meetings with AV requirements.
The Front Room and Den: Capacity: 20 guests seated
Features: We have removed the operable wall that would usually divide these two rooms. Most of above features exist as well as a leather sofa, two arm chairs and a large open fire, that makes this one of the most welcoming spots in winter. This space is perfect for an intimate dinner with guests.
The Kitchen Restaurant: Capacity: 50 guests seated (depending upon table arrangement)
Features: The fireplace in this room is perfect to keep this a cosy and inviting area in the cooler months. There are fabric blinds, leather banquettes and a recessed nook. A fascinating collection of retro plates, cooking utensils and White’s Aviation hand painted photographs of an almost undiscovered Queenstown displayed on the walls. The views overlook the rugged Kawarau Gorge hillsides and Bridal Veil Waterfall. French doors open onto our courtyard and potager garden. This is a great seating area for smaller functions.
Limitations: Due to the layout of the restaurant, we are somewhat restricted in the seating arrangements. Please call to discuss your specific requirements.
The Courtyard: Capacity: 100 guests seated, 300 guests cocktail style
Features: Marquee, stone wall and large open fire at one end of the courtyard with unobstructed views of the breathtaking landscape. In warmer weather the walls to the marquee can be removed so that everyone can enjoy our long hot evenings. The power points beside the fireplace are perfect for bands to utilise. The croquet green is also available for mingling and is a perfect spot for pre dinner drinks when the sun is shining before guests move through to the marquee.
